Frontline Arts values our artist members and our larger community of artists and supporters. The ARTIST SERIES offers both members and non-members different ways to connect with other artists in our community. From our popular, long-running Artist 2 Artist monthly meetings, to the new Cafe Culture gatherings, Tech Talks, and Free Demonstrations, there's something for every artist!
Free Demonstrations and the A2A network are open to both members and non-members.
The Cafe Culture and Tech Talk series are a benefit of membership.
ARTIST 2 ARTIST
The Artist 2 Artist Network (aka A2A) developed from a desire to offer a place where artists could come together in an open and encouraging environment. Artists, who work in many varied media, have been meeting since February 2010. Newcomers are always welcome.
Meetings are scheduled once a month. During meetings, the artists enjoy time with like-minded individuals. Artists share their work, completed or in progress, contribute technical knowledge and offer information about art show participation and viewing opportunities. FA membership, while not required at this time, is strongly encouraged.
In addition to meetings the group has sponsored participation in the Somerville Jazz Festival with an art display, sponsored the screening of “Proceed and Be Bold”, viewed “Who Do you Think You Are” and enjoyed a pot-luck dinner at an artist’s studio. Who knows what will come next. Come and join us and be a part of the future of A2A!
2018 Calendar of Meetings:

Several times a year, Frontline Arts invites artists to regional cafés or to our studio space for a casual, open discussion with other artist members on a specific artist topic. You can bring information to share or purely come to listen, learn, and engage. We welcome suggestions for future meeting topics of interest!
