We're currently open to pre-scheduled, indoor rental (hourly and keyholder) and visitors, with Frontline Sunday Workshops now indoors. We are also regularly staffing the building on Tuesdays through Fridays 10am-3pm. If you'd like to stop in, please just email us in advance! Mask wearing is required by all, indoors.
The Frontline Arts studios are available for individual and small group rental. Take advantage of our fully equipped printmaking studios for intaglio, relief, screen-printing, letterpress, papermaking, and book arts (view our facilities here). Studio users must be familiar with techniques and equipment, and will be given an orientation in our health and safety procedures. If you are interested in learning a technique, Technical Assistance is available by appointment, and Classes are also available throughout the year. Hourly Studio Rental (Individual- contact us for special group rates):
$15/hour Exclusive use of equipment, when possible, scheduled in advance.
Studio Schedule:
Tuesdays through Fridays: 10am-3pm booked in advance- first come, first serve. Please arrive promptly, and be cleaned up and ready to leave at the end of your time.
Payment is due at time of scheduling, and materials are an additional fee based on your project needs (please email us for current material prices). Be sure to fill out the liability form before using the studio. We will be checking your temperature upon arrival and asking you to follow all disinfecting guidelines.
Cancellation Policy: Full refund for paid studio scheduling if cancelled prior to 48 hours. No refund for cancellation less than 48 hours in advance. If your session exceeds the scheduled hours, you will be invoiced for the additional time.
Studio Artist and Advanced Studio Artist Membership:
Purchase bulk studio time at a discount! The Studio Artist Level is $225 for 20 hours and includes membership perks. Advanced Studio Artist is only $400 for 40 hours, also including membership perks. These levels are both valid for one year from date of purchase.
Hours must be booked in advance and can only be used during our Studio schedule as listed above. Hours in excess of the 20 or 40 bulk-purchased time will be charged at the regular rate of $15/hr. Be sure to fill out the liability form before using the studio and email us with any questions.
Cancellation Policy: There is no refund for signing up for the Studio and Advanced Studio Membership levels. Please be considerate and schedule/cancel studio time at least 24 hrs in advance.
Yearly 24/7 Keyholder Access (Individual):
Full year: $900 annually or pay by automatic monthly installments of $85/mo for 12 consecutive months (no payment cancellations)
Monthly Access: $250 per month, non-recurring payments and no yearly commitment, perfect for short projects and using the studio when you really need it
Times for Keyholder Studio Rental:
The keyholder rate is the ONLY level with 24/7 access (aside from scheduled classes/events).
Keyholder Perks:
Unlimited 24/7 access to the studio workspace, tools, equipment and basic supplies (if not in conflict with events/classes). Materials are an additional fee based on your project needs. Please email us for current material prices.
Exclusive storage rental available: flat file drawer, and storage crate (all for a fee per yr: $120 lg drawer, $75 med drawer, $80 crate- please ask about availability).
1 hr. Studio Orientation, for all equipment use, and code to access building after hours (must be comfortable working alone and setting security alarm).
Cancellation Policy: There is no refund for signing up for the keyholder rental. Please be considerate and schedule/cancel studio time at least 24 hrs in advance during business hours. Requests made on the weekend will not be seen until we are open.
