Dive into the fascinating world of intaglio printing in this sustainable method with long-time Frontline Arts Member and Instructor, Len Merlo.
Join this in-person, hands-on, non-toxic printmaking workshop, which is perfect for anyone curious about art, environmentally-friendly printing techniques, or just looking to try something new and creative.
The intaglio printing using Tetra Pak® plates quickly became a favorite Printmaking technique here at Frontline Arts!
This method uses recycled Tetra Pak containers (such as shelf-stable milk, creamer, or broth cartons) to create a workable intaglio plate, making it an eco-friendly and cost-effective process.
The artwork image was printed on Hannehmule etching paper using water-soluble Akua Inks.
