Frontline Arts' Paper Beater machine is frequently used as a centerpiece for our papermaking programming, including the Veterans' Workshops, mobile workshops at schools, and events. Its ability to blend deconstructed materials, such as military uniforms, medical scrubs, and other fabrics, into paper pulp makes it an integral part of our process. The machine's annual sponsorship includes supplemental funding for our new programming, the "Strands" project, plus staff hours for regular maintenance.

Thanks to a grant for Combat Paper NJ (now called Frontline Paper), which initially funded the acquisition of this machine.
