The Printmaking Center of NJ, Frontline Arts, and Artist 2 Artist invite PCNJ members and Frontline Arts/Combat Paper NJ artists to submit up to three works for consideration for inclusion in the curated exhibition “A New Century of War” scheduled for Oct 18 – Nov 17, 2017 in the PCNJ Main Gallery. This exhibition is in context of the 100-year anniversary of the United States entry in World War I. The exhibition is looking to display artist’s perspectives on the impact of “the war to end all wars” on the last one hundred years and the resultant world’s culture, politics, geopolitical structure, economy, technology, gender and race equality, and any other aspect of life.
This exhibition will be curated by PCNJ Board member, Dennis Murray, and CPNJ Studio Manager, Walt Nygard. Original work is accepted in all printmaking mediums, also including, but not limited to, papermaking, photography and book arts. Artists may submit work that has been created partially or completely with digital methods, as long as the image is original and NOT a digital reproduction of an image that already exists in another medium.
