National Art Honors Society Students
from Ridge High School
june 5-8th, 2018
thursday june 7th from 6:00-8:00pm
Ridge High School’s National Art Honors Society will be having a pop-up exhibition in the Frontline Arts' Gallery from June 5-8 to support war veterans thru the arts. The art students have been piloting a program for the last few months in partnership with Frontline Paper whereby they interviewed and sketched portraits of veterans on handmade paper from military uniforms to identify friends, family, and individuals in their community who have served in combat.
Frontline Arts donated the handmade paper to the students, and the students are donating the funds raised back to the organization. Please join us at the opening reception with live music, food, and refreshments to celebrate the veterans, the students, and the new friendships that have been made!
