Photopolymer Plate Letterpress with Victoria Beck

Saturday, May 4th, 10am-2pm

Members: $135, Non-Members: $145, Materials: $41.50

Photopolymer plates have revolutionized letterpress in that they allow for quick and easy plate production and printing without the need for tedious typesetting. The user can choose from the myriad of fonts available online or develop their font, logos, and artwork. This wonderful fusion of new plate technology and old printing techniques has sparked a revival in the art of letterpress. Participants will learn to process and print these plates along with what type of imagery is suitable for the medium. They will then be able to use this technique to print their stationery, greeting cards, business cards etc.
