This 5x7” handmade paper is made from the deconstruction of donated scrubs and other medical garments, screen printed on one side with a blank postcard template. One set has been mailed to each individual who donated scrubs, with the rest available here as bundles of (5) postcards available for purchase, along with instructions and one card with a stamp, or single, blank sheets. The Scrubs Paper Project is a connective community art project allowing healthcare workers on the frontlines an opportunity to share their experiences of battling COVID-19 while practicing responsible social distancing through artmaking.

Share your story on the front of this postcard or pass this card along and have others share. Please also share your experience with the project, and an image of a healthcare worker holding their postcard to lindsey@frontlinearts.org or fill in the form lower on this page. If you want your postcard to be featured in a virtual exhibition at frontlinearts.org, send your completed card to: Frontline Arts, 440 River Rd, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
We have included one postage stamp and one envelope in the bundle packs. You can send the postcard in the mail directly with the stamp, or place the postcard in the provided envelope and stamp it to pass along to a healthcare worker. You may also use the envelope if you want to keep the artwork on the front private in-transit, or if it's fragile and might get damaged in the mail. Single, blank sheets of the scrubs paper are available on our store as well.
